I learned from my first baby’s delivery that our hospital did not supply a mug like this – just flimsy paper cups with straws (why??!!). So for baby #2 I knew I needed something substantial. Even though I already had a decent number of stainless water bottles, I wanted something with a handle and something clear so my husband or the nurses could see easily if I needed a refill. Absolutely love it and still using it as my primary cup 9 weeks postpartum.Only down side was I forgot it wouldn’t fit in our car cup holders and had filled it up before leaving for the hospital. It wasn’t much fun trying to hold the full water cup and have contractions in the car while racing to the hospital in the middle of the night! �� So if you need to take it to the hospital, pack something for your car that’s fits the cup holder and just have the empty mug ready in your bag!
